Family Weekend

The Catholic University of America invites families to attend Family Weekend 2012, a campus-wide celebration in honor of parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members. Family Weekend provides an opportunity for families to get a taste of our campus culture and spend quality time with their daughters and sons.

Beginning Friday, October 12, there will be something for everyone, including a pregame barbecue at the DuFour Center, a Cardinal football game under the lights, and a reception for siblings of current students, providing them with a taste of campus life.

On Saturday, October 13, the day will begin with service and educational opportunities.  Following will be a brunch that will feature an address by Catholic University's 15th president, John Garvey, as well as a student a cappella performance.  There will be opportunities to take tours both on- and off campus, and for children of all ages to participate in the Cardinal Family Carnival, all before returning to participate in Family Weekend Mass in the Crypt Church of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
